Bro. Ross Perkins, 32º

I regret to inform you of the passing of Brother Rozwell Ross Perkins, Jr, more affectionately know as Brother Ross. He demitted to Celestial Lodge #1 today, Tuesday, January 21, 2020 while surrounded by his family. Brother Ross remained an active member of both Hancock Lodge #311 and Armed Forces Scottish Rite Bodies until just last month when infirmities proved more formidable than his desire to attend. Our brother was devoted Mason and an incredible human being; the nicest you’d want to meet anywhere, but more especially on the level. He is a Korean War veteran and spent a long career in corrections. A wealth of local historical knowledge and an exemplary brother, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Masonic Funeral Services will begin at 18:30 Hours on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at R L Leintz Funeral Home, 4701 10th Ave, Leavenworth. All local Armed Forces Scottish Rite Bodies members and Members of Hancock Lodge #311 . F. & A. M. are requested to attend. Dark suit and apron are requested. A limited number of aprons will be available at the funeral home. Visitation is from 1730-1930 Hours.

Church funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, at First Baptist Church, 340 N. 13th St., Leavenworth, Kansas. Burial will follow at Mt. Muncie Cemetery.
